Children’s Museum of Central Oregon holds a pop-up museum in Bend

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Hanai, an event venue in Bend, welcomed the Children’s Museum of Central Oregon this month. Dozens of families attended the mobile pop-up museum event.

There were seven exhibit zones, with tons of interactive and hands-on learning, and fun. The games were STEAM-infused, and Central Oregon inspired.

"We have been, overwhelmed with the amount of support from the community," Erica Segal, Children's Museum of Central Oregon's Program Manager said. "Our attendance has been much higher than any of our other events."

"That support is so encouraging, and that inspires us to keep going with our goal of creating a permanent space for the children's museum."

The mission of the mobile museum is to bring the museum exhibits to children all around Central Oregon. The next pop-up museum will be in Sisters from February 22nd to 23rd.
