JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ore. (KTVZ) -- A new wildfire has been reported east of Highway 26 and west of Highway 97, between the boundaries of Jefferson County and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Reservation.

The fire, named the Tmsh Fire, is currently estimated at 5 acres, according to Watch Duty. Information remains limited, and officials have not yet released details about the cause, containment, or any potential threats to nearby communities.

The fire is burning in a rural area of Central Oregon that borders both Jefferson County and the Warm Springs Reservation.
