Summit Storm survive and advance to the semifinals after 50-48 win over Mountain View

McMINNVILLE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Summit Storm won an absolute nail-biter against their cross-town rival, the Mountain View Cougars in their Oregon 5A tournament opener at the Linfield University gym on Wednesday. The Cougars have fallen to Summit three times this regular season, but in their fourth attempt, they almost sent the No. 1 seed packing for home. But the Storm are the top seed for a reason, and with Jacob Hansen hitting clutch shots in the fourth quarter and icing the game with free throws, the Storm survive and advance to play the No. 4 seed Woodburn on Friday.
