OSAA points to state laws as GOP lawmakers call for ban on males who identify as female from taking part in girls’ sports

After Republicans in the Oregon Legislature sent a letter to the Oregon School Activities Association requesting to ban biologically born males who identify as female from participating in girls' high school sports, OSAA responded by saying they are required to by state law, which includes "gender identity" in the definition of "sexual orientation."
