Monday’s Sports Report: High School fall sports nearing the end, with a big Central Oregon matchup on Tuesday
The fall sports season is coming to a close. Three sports finished over the weekend - cross country, volleyball and water polo. In cross country, the Summit girls and boys placed second, while the Caldera girls finished third. In volleyball, Crook County placed third, while the Bend High Lava Bears finished fifth. Girls and boys soccer are headed to the semifinals, with the Caldera and Bend girls going head to head on Tuesday. The Summit boys are headed to their sixth straight semifinal game. In football, three Central Oregon teams remain: Summit, Mountain View and Culver. Mtn. View and Culver are undefeated on the year and play at home on Friday.
