Sports Report: Hall of Fame history and a Central Oregon hooper hits a major milestone

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- A Caldera High School senior is on the cusp of a major career milestone. Ali Heinly, a guard for the Caldera Wolfpack, is only one bucket away from 1,000 career points. She is expected to surpass that marker tonight against the Ridgeview Ravens. More history was made as Ichiro Suzuki became the first Japanese player to enter the baseball hall of fame, missing a unanimous bid by one single vote. Onto the Portland Trailblazers, who beat the Miami Heat last night, 116-107. The Blazers begin a two game road trip tomorrow against the Orlando Magic before heading back to Portland for a seven game home stand.
