Summit boys volleyball moves onto to semifinal round; Oregon vs Oregon State baseball

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- The Summit Storm are moving on to the semifinals after sweeping La Salle in the second round of the playoffs, putting the team one step closer to making history.

After winning the past two state championships as a club program, Summit now has the opportunity to capture the first-ever OSAA state title. The Storm say the excitement around the program has continued to grow throughout the season, with more students and fans paying attention to the team’s success.

The chance to hang a state championship banner inside the school gym has served as extra motivation for the players during their playoff run. For many on the roster, the opportunity to leave behind a lasting legacy at Summit has made this season even more meaningful.

Next up for the Storm is a semifinal matchup against No. 2 seed Central Catholic, a program Summit knows well and respects. The Storm understand the challenge ahead will not come easy, but the team believes its chemistry, communication, and experience can help lead the way.

With strong teamwork and a chance to make school history, Summit heads to Salem hoping to turn a dream season into a state championship run.
