The Big Playback: Summit takes down Ridgeview 14-13; Caldera and Mtn. View win big

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- Summit and Ridgeview battled to a 7-7 tie at halftime in a defensive matchup. Ridgeview took its first lead in the fourth quarter on a touchdown run by Bronx Lick, but the Storm answered with a long drive capped by a Clay Johnson touchdown.

Aiden Rugani's extra point gave Summit a 14-13 lead, and the Storm held on for the road victory. Summit remains undefeated in league play, while Ridgeview suffered its first loss of the season.

Caldera jumped out to an early lead behind a strong rushing performance from Waylon Clarke, who scored the Wolfpack’s first touchdown. Redmond answered with a touchdown run from Tanner Nelson to tie the game early in the second quarter.

The Panthers kept pace in a high-scoring battle, but Caldera pulled away late to secure a 60-29 victory over Redmond.

Mountain View came out firing against an undefeated Crook County team, jumping out to a 14-0 lead behind two early touchdowns from Ryder Carpenter. The Cougars continued to control the game on the ground, with Carpenter adding a third touchdown while Carson Bottemiller helped set up another scoring opportunity.

Mountain View's offense stayed in control throughout the game, while its defense kept Crook County off the scoreboard. The Cougars cruised to a 41-0 shutout victory.
