Dylan on The Ducks: Preparing for the Rose Bowl in a first of it’s kind season
BEND, Ore. --(KTVZ)-- We are one day closer to the grandaddy of them all, the Rose Bowl. The number one ranked Oregon Ducks will face-off against the eighth ranked Ohio State Buckeyes. In their first matchup both offenses found success, gaining over 450 total yards of offense. Defensively, Oregon had the upper hand forcing two turnovers. Those fumbles could've easily been the difference for the Buckeyes, in a game where the margin of victory was only one point.
Oregon head coach Dan Lanning had this to say about the abnormally long season. "
Yeah, I think, the real challenge in there has been for me to make sure, that I'm keeping our players fresh and our team ready, but our guys are really up for the mental challenge. We've got a mature team. I've been really proud of the way they've prepped all season, and, they've kind of attacked every single day and put a lot of trust in our coaching staff."
If you wanna catch the Ducks and Buckeyes in action, tune in on New Years Day at 2pm. Remember to stay tuned to Dylan on The Ducks, where we will be following the Ducks every step of the way on their journey to the Rose Bowl and beyond.
