3 young heroes honored at Bend 9/11 remembrance

A group including veterans braved smoky conditions to put up flags and hold a Patriot Day event at the Bend Heroes Memorial in Bend Friday to commemorate the 19th anniversary of 9/11. This year's ceremony also featured an honor to three young heroes who came to the aid of an injured hiker last month.
