LAX airport crowd cheers Pearl Harbor survivor Dick Higgins on way home to Bend

Dick Higgins, the 100-year-old Bend resident and Pearl Harbor survivor who just attended the 80th commemoration of the "Day of Infamy," is still drawing cheers, as he did here Wednesday, arriving at LA International Airport on his trip home.
