New Year’s fireworks, party noises can frighten pets who run away

The Humane Society of Central Oregon says it's a good time to be prepared and make sure your pet's ID tags and microchip info are current, as they see a large number of runaway pets around New Year's that are frightened by fireworks and other loud sounds.
