Dog falls through ice at Big Sky pond, a reminder of the dangers of thin ice – and to stay off it

A dog fell through the ice in the pond at Pine Nursery Park Wednesday afternoon. Bend Fire was called, and while the dog was able to pull itself out of the water, its a near-tragic reminder of the danger of thin ice, and the need to stay off it.
