Central Oregonians gather at Peace Corner in downtown Bend for a Ukraine rally, urging U.S. aid for country

 It's been two years since Russia invaded Ukraine, creating tragedies on both sides. There was a rally in downtown Bend on Saturday, encouraging people to stand up for democratic principles and urging the U.S. House to follow the Senate and approve a major aid package to Ukraine.

The rally took place at the corner of Wall and Greenwood, also known as Peace Corner. The Vocal Seniority and Indivisible Sisters co-hosted the rally. It was a rally for U.S. aid to Ukraine.
