Kids hunt for Easter eggs and fill their baskets at Compass Park in NW Bend

Empty easter baskets quickly became filled, as kids searched Compass Park, for Life in Bend's Easter Egg Hunt Sunday. The inaugural event went off without a hitch. Kids eagerly lined up behind the starting line, ready to capture as many eggs as their baskets could carry. More than 200 kids were registered for the event. The lawn area was sprinkled with 3,000 pastel eggs, hidden all over the park.
