Local Alert Weather, Thursday AM, 10-10-19

GOOD THURSDAY MORNING, EVERYONE…

After getting the day started with some very cold temperatures, many down in the teens, we will see a sunny, but chilly day ahead. Under sunny skies we will see daytime high only reach the low to mid 50’s . Easterly breezes will be gentle at 5 -10 mph . Skies will stay clear tonight and that will allow our lows to drop back into the upper teens to mid 20’s . Breezes will calm in the evening and stay calm overnight.

We will see plenty of sunshine Friday and highs will warm into the low 60’s ; still a bit below average. The very southern portion of a cold front moving across the NW will increase our clouds Saturday and into Saturday night, but the chance of seeing any showers from those clouds has all but vanished. Highs Saturday will be in the mid 60’s . Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs in the low 60’s . We will stay cool and sunny to start the new work week. Highs will range from the upper 50’s to low 60’s . A powerful, but slow-moving system will work its way down the Canadian coastline and thicken our clouds Tuesday and Wednesday. We are anticipating this system to bring high winds and rain with it, so we will continue to monitor that storm track to see how much of the storm will be affecting us.
