Fair skies ahead

Happy Thursday, Central Oregon!

We will see some gradual clearing Thursday night as lows dip into the 30s and northerly breezes back off to 5-10 mph.

Friday promises to be the fairest day we will see for a bit. Under mostly sunny skies, highs will be close to 70 degrees.

Clouds will thicken a bit Friday night as the next system approaches.

This will lead to a chance of showers and scattered thunderstorms Saturday, beginning about lunch time.

Highs will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Cold air will move in with this system, so Sunday we can plan on being rainy, with highs only reaching the mid to upper 50s.

This will start to break up Sunday night, leaving us with only a modest chance of showers early Monday morning.

A clearing and warming trend will take us back to sunny skies, with highs in the low 70s by Wednesday.
