A cool down has started

Happy Wednesday, Central Oregon!

Skies will stay mostly clear Wednesday night, with lows in the 40s.

Breezes will become light and variable.

Conditions will stay quite fair through the end of the work week.

Skies will become partly cloudy Friday as the leading edge of the next system works into the northwest.

A chance of showers will build in Friday night, and that chance will turn to a likelihood of rain Saturday and Sunday.

Cold air mixed with this system will drop daytime highs to the low 60s Saturday and mid 50's Sunday.

Lows will dip to the mid to upper 30s.

After a slight chance of showers Monday morning, we will see a warming and clearing trend that will put us back into the mid 60s under mostly sunny skies Tuesday.
