Air quality alert issued

Happy Thursday, Central Oregon!

The biggest forecast concern Thursday through the weekend continues to be the smoke and air quality. An air quality alert is in place until Monday at noon.

Thursday night will be a bit warmer, with lows in the upper 40s. On Friday, we should see temperatures in the upper 80s, with lows also in the upper 40s.

High pressure will dominate the weather through Saturday and bring dry conditions, with warm temperatures expected in the high 80s. Depending on thickness and coverage of smoke, highs might trend down.

Monday night into Tuesday of next week, expect a chance of showers. Past Tuesday, we keep a slight chance showers, with temperatures in the upper 70s.
