Smoky and warm

Happy Tuesday, Central Oregon!

Light breezes will turn calm Tuesday evening, with smoke sticking around and lows in the high 30s to mid 40s.

As long as major wildfires continue to burn, we can expect smoky conditions to stay with us, but there might be a little relief in sight. Our air quality alert is still in place until at least Thursday at noon.

Highs will be in the low 80s through Thursday. Beginning Thursday, we will see a chance of showers that should stay with us for a couple days.

Highs will drop into the mid to upper 60s Friday, when we see our best chance of rain, and Saturday.

On Sunday and Monday, we will see highs in the mid 70s, more normal for this time of year, along with sunny skies. Lows will stay in the mid to upper 40s all week.
