Showers and thunderstorms on the way

Strong northwest winds will be pushing this new storm system east across the Cascades and into Central Oregon.

Rain is likely Sunday morning, with the possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Our forecast highs on Sunday are in the low 60s and high 50s, right around average.

We also have a chance at seeing hail on Sunday.

Showers are expected through Monday, dipping down to a 30% chance for rain Monday evening.

Then Tuesday through Friday, we maintain slight chances for rain.

We get a break from the precipitation with partly cloudy skies next Saturday.
