Could hit record-setting warmth next week

Sunday we have partly cloudy skies, hitting highs in the high 60s and low 70s. Northerly winds should be calm, mostly staying in the single digits.

Memorial Day on Monday will be mostly cloudy, but it's also the beginning of our warming trend. We are looking at temperatures in the high 70s, with calm winds out of the south.

Then, by next Thursday and Friday, we could be at or near 90-degree temperatures for the first time this year, putting us only a few degrees below our record high of 94 on each of those days.
