Warm & hazy

-GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

We woke up to clear skies and a smoky haze, and it looks like that is how we stay through the day. Most of Central Oregon will see moderate air quality today, as highs reach the upper 70's to low 80's under sunny skies. Breezes will be gentle out of the west and NW at 5-10 mph. Breezes will turn light and variable tonight. Mostly clear skies and a smoky haze will stay with us. Lows will be in the low 30's to mid 40's.

We will stay mostly sunny and hazy Thursday, but this is also when we will begin to feel the influence of cooler air moving into the region. Highs will only reach the low to mid 70's.

Skies will stay mostly sunny Friday with highs in the low to mid 70's. Clouds will thicken Friday night and we will see a chance of showers develop by early Saturday morning. The cooling trend will continue through the weekend, with rain likely Saturday into Saturday night.

We will see some partial clearing Sunday, but colder air moving in will keep us in the mid to upper 50's for daytime highs. We will go into next week under partly cloudy skies, with highs warming into the low to mid 60's.
