Mostly clear; smoky

GOOD THURSDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

Mostly sunny skies and fair temperatures will be marred by a smoky haze for much of our day. We start the day under unhealthy air quality and will see it improve a bit this afternoon. Highs will be in the low to mid 70's and NW breezes will pick up to 5-15 mph. Skies will stay mostly clear tonight. Lows will range from the low 30's to low 40's. Light and variable breezes this evening stay with us through the night.

The clouds will close in over the day Friday and deliver a chance of rain Friday night. Cold air will accompany this system, so a rainy Saturday will only see highs in the mid to upper 50's. With lows dipping to the mid 20's to mid 30's, look for some snow to mix with the rain, especially at the upper elevations.

It will stay chilly Sunday, but the storm will break up and we will be left under partly cloudy skies. Highs will warm into the mid 60's under mostly sunny skies going into next week. Overnight lows will stay cold, dropping into the 20's. Widespread frost can be expected every night across the region.
