Late-day rain

GOOD FRIDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

With the advance of a cold, wet, winter system we will see our clouds thicken today and deliver a slight chance of some late day showers. Highs will only be in the mid to upper 50's and westerly winds at 5-15 mph will gust as high as 20-25 mph. Those gusty winds will stay with us for much of the night. Some snow will mix with rain showers tonight, as lows range from the upper 20's to mid 30's.

As storm activity moves off to the east, our storm activity will break up through Saturday morning. Behind the storm, we will see plenty of sunshine -- and some very cold temperatures. Sunday's highs will be in the mid 30's, despite seeing sunny skies, and overnight lows well down into the single digits. Our skies will stay quite clear through next week. We will also see a warming trend that will have us in the mid 60's by Wednesday.
