Cool start to the weekend, summer feel on Memorial Day

Happy Friday!

We can expect partly sunny conditions today. The clouds will move in as the day moves along and some of the region may see a brief shower.

Afternoon highs will be reaching the 60s across Central Oregon.

Some parts of the region may be impacted from prescribed burn smoke. Two were planned to begin yesterday east of Sunriver and south of Crescent.

Tomorrow will be on the cooler side of normal by about 8 – 10 degrees but we'll be on the sunny side. We will see a warm up on Sunday as we reach the 70s.

Memorial Day is considered the unofficial beginning of summer, and it's definitely going to feel that way with the warmer temperatures. High on Monday will be above normal, mainly in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Enjoy the holiday weekend!
