Cooler than yesterday with near-seasonal temps

Good Wednesday morning!

For the last several days we’ve been crossing the 80° mark in Bend. We’re breaking the streak today only topping out in the upper 70s.

Our region has been on the northern edge of the ridge of high pressure dominating the western part of the US. This is the cause for the warmer than normal temperatures to kick off the month of June. That ridge has been shifting east and as a result, we have been seeing less upper 80s and more middle to low 80s.

Today we can expect near-seasonal temperatures and mostly clear skies across the region. It won't be as breezy as it was yesterday.

As we move into the night, temperatures will drop into the 40s.

We can expect mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80s once again on Thursday. A more sustained cool down will return Friday and lasting through the weekend.

We may see some light rain showers by Sunday or Monday.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
