Rainy days ahead

Good Thursday morning!

As temperatures rise, we’re transitioning into a rainy pattern for a few days. Southern Deschutes may see a wintry mix early today, but rain will dominate as the main form of precipitation.

Before heading out this morning, be aware that roads may be slick with areas of patchy ice.

Today and tomorrow will be our wettest days, with rain totals around a half of an inch by the end of the week.

Rain and wintry mix will be limited to start the day, but an approaching warm front will bring the next round of rain this evening.

Highs today will range from the 40s to 50s across the region under mostly cloudy skies. We'll remain on the breezy side but not quite as windy as we were earlier in the week. Gusts will range in the 20-30 mph range.

Once we hit the weekend there will be a partial clearing. Expect an early snow/mix Saturday and then drying out Sunday.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
