Cold pattern takes over for the weekend as arctic air moves in

After another mild week, temperatures are dropping for the weekend. We’ll see highs only hit the mid to upper 30s today under partly cloudy skies. Winds will gust around 15-20mph, which will make it feel colder than it actually is. Lows tonight will be in the teens and single digits so make sure to bundle up for your Friday night plans.

Clouds will decrease through the afternoon and you can expect mostly sunny and dry conditions the remainder of the weekend.

Plan for temperatures this weekend in the 30s, with Saturday being the coldest day. On Saturday, we’ll see highs hover right around freezing, with some areas dipping below 30 degrees. Overnight lows will remain in the teens and single digits all weekend.

The upper level low bringing in cold air this weekend will get pushed south by Monday, and we’ll start to see a high pressure creep in, allowing us to heat back up to near normal.

Happy Friday and have a good weekend!
