Sunny skies and chilly temps tomorrow

It’s another fairly quiet day here on the High Desert.

Temperatures are struggling to get above freezing, with highs only reaching the 30s this weekend. Overnight lows will drop into the single digits, so make sure to bundle up.

There’s an Air Stagnation Advisory in parts of Central Oregon until 4pm Monday. The light winds and high pressure pushing down on the surface has trapped the smoke and other pollutants in the area leading to poor air quality. During this time, you should avoid outdoor burning.

Monday will start to see temperatures warm up back into the 40s. We’ll head back to the upper 40s and low 50s by the middle of the week. Some wet weather could be coming in Thursday or Friday.

Sunny and dry conditions are expected for the next several days. It's possible we could be getting some wet weather by Thursday or Friday.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!
