Dry and cold on Sunday

Snow grabbed all the attention in recent days, but now the focus turns to the cold for the next few days.

You may have seen a passing snow shower but besides that, it's been a calm Saturday.

We have a cold night ahead with lows dipping into the teens and even single digits in southern Deschutes County. Some places could be dealing with areas of patchy freezing fog.

Tomorrow’s highs will be chilly, with many areas barely climbing above freezing. Expect mostly sunny conditions across the region.

Prepare as the region settles for a long period of bitterly cold conditions. Much colder air moves in overnight into Monday, with highs only reaching the 20s early next week.

Tuesday is looking to be the coldest day of the week. Normally we're in the mid-40s during early February.

Some snow showers may return by the middle of the week.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!
