One more warm day before temperatures cool

A ridge of high pressure gave us a taste of summer today, with highs climbing into the upper 70s and 80s across the region.

Overnight lows will drop into the 30s and 40s under partly cloudy skies.

Hope you’re soaking up the sun while it’s here... changes are ahead!

The setup begins tomorrow. Temperatures stay warm on Saturday in the 70s, but clouds will build through the day. Expect breezy afternoon winds through the weekend.

Cooler air moves in Sunday, bringing highs down into the 60s. There’s also a chance for light, scattered showers. Rain isn’t a major concern, but you may want to bring hooded jacket just in case.

Don’t forget Sunday is Mother’s Day!

The rain lingers into Monday as temperatures continue to cool into the low 60s.
