Nice weather for outdoor plans on Sunday
Happy Saturday!
It’s been a warm, dry day with afternoon highs in the low 80s. If the cool, rainy weather put a damper on your Fourth of July plans, today was a perfect chance to make up for it.
On a positive note, no wildfires are challenging us right now. The recent rain likely helped dampen any fire starts!
A warming trend kicks in as a high pressure system settles over the region. Highs will climb into the upper 80s tomorrow, bringing another great day to enjoy outdoor activities!
Typical highs for this time of year should be around the low 80s.
The beginning of the work week will be hot with afternoon highs reaching the 90s. Tuesday is shaping up to be the hottest day of the stretch. Expect some more clouds on Tuesday with a chance for pop up storms or stray showers. The unsettled conditions may continue into Wednesday.
Highs will drop into the 80s during the middle of the week, but we could rise to the 90s by Friday.
I know many of us love soaking up the heat, but it can be dangerous. Stay safe, stay hydrated, and take breaks in the shade when you can!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
