Slight chance for a stray shower but otherwise mostly dry through the weekend
Bend, OR (KTVZ) -
There is a slight chance for a stray shower this morning but clearing conditions are expected in the early afternoon. The rest of the day will be dry and partly to mostly cloudy. Highs are in the 50s.
Early morning temperatures on Thanksgiving will be a little chilly, so make sure you’re dressed warm for the Turkey Trot. Afternoon temperatures will make up for it, climbing into the low to mid 50s. Thanksgiving will be mostly dry, but again, a slight chance for a stray shower through the first half of the day. It won’t be much more than a spritz here and there.
Rain is expected to clear out as we approach the weekend. Mountain showers are possible early Friday but the Tri-County area will be dry for your Black Friday shopping plans. Travel routes after Thanksgiving will be clean.
Temperatures drop this weekend. Plan for highs in the 40s. The weekend should stay dry, although some models are starting to lean toward a passing shower into Sunday morning with a mixture of rain and snow. We are expected to have a drier northwest flow, so this forecast isn’t highly likely nor set in stone. For now, we’ll call it "likely dry” and will keep you updated on any potential changes.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.Â
