Dry Thursday ahead with comfortable afternoon temperatures

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - We’re tracking a pleasant spring day with mostly sunny and dry conditions across Central Oregon. Highs will climb into the mid 60s to low 70s across Central Oregon, with breezy winds developing this afternoon.

Expect mostly sunny skies Friday morning, with increasing clouds through the afternoon. Highs will reach the 60s.

Cooler weather arrives this weekend, with temperatures dropping back into the 50s. Normal highs for this time of year are typically in the mid to upper 60s.

A low pressure system dropping south from Canada into the Pacific Northwest on Saturday will bring a mix of rain and snow to the mountains. Across the High Desert, conditions are expected to stay mostly dry as the mountains squeeze out most of the moisture.

We'll see more sunshine on Sunday with high temperatures in the upper 50s.

After the weekend, high pressure builds back in, bringing drier weather and warmer temperatures next week. Temperatures warm back into the upper 60s Monday, with mid to upper 70s expected by Tuesday and Wednesday.
