Mild highs for Tuesday, warming continues through the week

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Warmer and dry weather is expected through the rest of the week as a large area of high pressure builds into the Pacific Northwest.

Tuesday morning will feel crisp, but temperatures will warm nicely this afternoon with highs reaching the upper 60s to low 70s. Some breezy conditions could develop later today.

Highs will gradually warm through the week. Expect similar conditions Wednesday and Thursday, with highs climbing into the mid to upper 70s.

A string of 80-degree temperatures arrives Friday, bringing a summer-like feel heading into Memorial Day weekend. Expect partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday.

By Memorial Day on Monday, temperatures cool back into the low 70s with increasing cloud cover.

There may be a few clouds overhead at times, but the forecast stays dry with no rain expected over the next several days. Warm temperatures and dry conditions are increasing fire concerns, so make sure to practice fire safety.
