Warm up continues, before cooler weather returns for the weekend

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Howdy all, and happy Wednesday to you. Our warming trend is still on track, and we've got some beautiful weather ahead! Highs will climb into the mid-70s tomorrow, with high 70s to low 80s possible Friday. It's shaping up to be a fantastic end to the workweek, so enjoy those warmer afternoons while they last!

Our next change arrives this weekend as temperatures cool back to more seasonal levels for Saturday and Sunday. We'll also see some increasing cloud cover, with a few light showers possible over the Cascades. Some of the highest mountain peaks could even see a brief dusting of snow, but any accumulation is expected to be short-lived.

We still have our eyes on our next potential chance for rain as we head into next week, but the forecast is already trending drier for Monday. Regardless, we're still monitoring the potential for some moisture to return to the High Desert Monday into Tuesday. Rain chances could continue to change as we get closer, so our weather team will keep you updated as we learn more.

Enjoy the sunshine and warmth, folks! We still have a few more days of spectacular warm weather before a real chill returns to the region again.
