Snow Report: Friday April 26th

Snow is falling again along the crest of the Cascades. Some of the highest amounts of snow are likely to be above 6500 feet, but the general amounts at 5500 will be in the 1 - 3" range. Bachelor is reporting near 6" by noon. The west winds are going to persist over the weekend, meaning some snow is likely each of the next couple of days as the mountains squeeze out as much moisture as possible. Temperatures are going to hover near freezing so it will be a wet snow, but snow none the less. Hoodoo is now the latest resort to close for the season. Please check with the resort you plan to attend to get the hours of operation.
