Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM

KTVZ

Happy Monday evening, everyone!

Mostly clear skies are on the way overnight after seeing some clouds develop east of the Cascades this afternoon. Winds will generally be out of the west around 5 to 10 miles per hour. Lows will bottom out in the upper 30s and lower 40s early tomorrow morning.

Tuesday will be a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Winds will be out of the north around 10 to 15 miles per hour. Temperatures will be around 10 degrees above average for this time of year.

By the middle of the week we’ll just be ahead of the next system pushing inland, so temperatures will still be the same, but overhead we’ll see changes. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s until Thursday. Wednesday evening sees the chance for some thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Winds will kick up by the end of the week as the cold front sweeps its way through the region. Highs will gradually cool into the upper 60s and lower 70s. Rain showers are likely on Thursday and Friday, but we’re keeping a close eye on when we can expect the showers.

Memorial Day weekend is looking dry so far with many a slight chance for rain showers early Saturday. The rest of the weekend will see improving conditions overhead with around average temperatures.
