Saturday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon and happy Saturday!

A beautiful first weekend of June for us here on the high desert.

Lots of sunshine and highs were in the upper 70s to 80s across the region.

We are above average for this time of the year, usually we are right around that 70 degree mark, so we surpassed that across Central Oregon.

This evening is looking to be a nice one, we should se temperatures in the low 80s to upper 70s as the sun sets.

Tonight we will see relatively war lows in the upper 40s and 50s.

There is a ridge of high pressure in place that is keeping the skies clear and making things warm.

That will begin to break down tomorrow, and while Sunday we will still see highs in the 80’s we will see more cloud cover across the region.

The cascades could see some isolated rain showers as well, but we look to stay dry here east of the cascades.

It will be breezy though for Sunday with wind out of the northwest at 15-20 MPH.

And Sunday night looks to be even windier with gusts up towards 35 MPH

A cooler start to the workweek on Monday, highs in the low 70’s to start the week!

Have a great weekend and enjoy the warm weather!
