How to Get Involved

Preregister at www.letspulltogether.org and receive a t-shirt at the festivities! Bring your weeding tool of choice, your friends, and family, and join in. Meet us at our weed pull locations. Site coordinators and noxious weed experts will assist in identifying native plants and noxious weeds. Sites are family friendly for children of all ages and for all physical ability levels. Mobile/Walking groups depart from their meeting locations after orientation.

Why Pull Noxious Weeds?
Noxious weeds are non-native invasive species that threaten our ecosystem. They crowd out native plants, starve wildlife, use water and create allergens. Noxious weeds also provide tremendous ladder fuel. During wildfires, ladder fuel can radically change the speed and fury at which wildfires burn.

Got Weeds?

Bagged noxious weeds can be dropped off from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on June 16 at the Westside Venue in the Old Mill District. Look for the Wintercreek Native Restoration trailer at the festivities.
