Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM

KTVZ

Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!

Tonight winds will gust out of the northwest around 25 miles per hour. High clouds will stick around through sunset tonight. Temperatures will quickly cool after sunset which is at 8:45 p.m. Overnight expect mostly clear skies with a few cloud developing in the early morning hours.

Tomorrow will see more clouds overhead than what we saw for today. We’ll also notice a little warm up. Temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 70s and lower 80s. Wednesday will be calm overall.

Overnight lows for the next several nights will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s, so your outdoor plants should be fine. If you live by a body of water or are in higher elevations and have concerns about sensitive plants, then I would cover them up just to be safe!

Winds will kick up on Thursday and Friday, so we know changes are ahead. Gusts will be around 25 to 30 miles per hour. Temperatures will still be mild to warm in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Clouds will vary between mostly sunny and partly cloudy.

Overnight Friday into Saturday is when showers are expected to arrive. As of now, showers look like they’ll develop late Friday night. Occasional showers will be around during the day on Saturday, but should break up by the evening. We’re keeping a very close eye on this next system as it does have an effect on our weekend plans!
