KTVZ

Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!

Winds will stay breezy tonight and we’ll see strong gusts through sunset. Sustained winds will be out of the northwest around 20 miles per hour with gusts upwards of 30. Temperatures will cool quickly tonight and lows will fall below average. Temperatures will dip into the mid to upper 30s early tomorrow morning. Clouds overnight will be between mostly clear to partly cloudy.

Tomorrow begins with some sunshine and we’ll see mostly sunny skies through the morning. Highs for Thursday will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s, which is a little below average. Some clouds will develop in the afternoon closer to the Cascades. Winds will gust around 25 miles per hour out of the north.

Friday sees nearly the exact same conditions as Thursday. Winds will be a little stronger gusting around 30 miles per hour ahead of the next system pushing into the region.

Heading into the weekend clouds will thicken and our chances for showers will increase. West of the Cascades will be dry throughout the Father’s Day weekend. Those east of the Cascades will see a chance for scattered rain showers both Saturday and Sunday as of now. Shower activity would be light and brief if we see showers at all. Highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Temperatures bounce right back by the middle of the week. Highs will be warm to hot at times in the mid to upper 80s.
