Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM

KTVZ

Happy Monday evening, everyone!

We have the chance for scattered showers continuing through the end of the evening. The chance really dwindles once we get to midnight. Winds will be gusting out of the northwest around 15 to 20 miles per hour through sunset. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s through 9 o’clock tonight. Lows will bottom out in the 40s and lower 50s early tomorrow morning. Clouds will gradually decrease overnight.

Tomorrow we begin with sunshine and clouds. Highs will quickly climb in the low to mid 80s. Winds will be gentle out of the west around 10 miles per hour. Overall, Tuesday will be a nice day and at times warm.

Conditions remain calm through most of the day on Wednesday. We’ll see a few more clouds overhead and certainly by the end of the day. As of now, the second half of the day on Wednesday has a chance for a few showers. Wednesday will be a little warmer than Tuesday with highs in the upper 80s.

The chance for showers and a few thunderstorms increases overnight into Thursday. Once we get past midday on Thursday we’ll see more sunshine and calmer conditions. Temperatures will be in the mid 80s for the First Day of Summer, which is Thursday.

We will see winds pick up Thursday and Friday. By the time we get to the end of the week and weekend it will feel much more like summer. We’ll see mostly sunny skies with highs in the low to mid 80s.
