Bend weekly road and traffic report: June 25-July 1

Here is the city of Bend’s weekly road and traffic report for June 25-July 1:

Special Events:

· Deschutes Brewery 30 th Anniversary , June 30 th – July 1 st from 8 a.m. – 8 a.m., Riverside Boulevard closed between Broadway Street and Tumalo Avenue with detour in place.

For the week of June 25 – July 1:

· Brookswood Boulevard at intersection with Porcupine Drive for paving and striping, northbound lane closure with flaggers, expect lane shifts and delays during construction, 6/26/18 – 6/27/18, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

· 14 th Street between Simpson Avenue and Knoll Avenue for bus shelter installations, lane closures with flaggers, 6/28/18 – 6/29/18, night work from 3 a.m. – 7 a.m.

14 th Street:

· 14 th Street between Galveston Avenue and Newport Avenue for work on the 14 th Street Reconstruction project, southbound lane closed with detours in place. Intermittent flagging and minor delays for northbound traffic.

· 14 th Street from Simpson Ave roundabout to Albany Ave for permanent striping, night work through June 27; expect flagging and delays. Intermittent flagging and delays through June 27 for miscellaneous striping and other project work. For project info: bendoregon.gov/14thStreet

Roosevelt Avenue Water Main Replacement Project, Phase 2:

· Roosevelt Avenue between Silver Lake Boulevard and Taft Avenue for water main replacement, road closure with local traffic access only, detours marked for thru traffic, construction begins on 5/30/18 with an anticipated end in early August. City of Bend Street Preservation:

· Newport Avenue Bridge between Brooks Street and Drake Road for chip seal restoration, lane closures with flaggers, 6/25/18, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

· Neff Road between Eastwood Drive and Purcell Boulevard for chip seal restoration, lane closures with detours, 6/26/18, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

· Revere Avenue between 8 th Street and Shepard Road for chip seal restoration, lane closures with flaggers and detours, 6/26/18, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

· Carson Way north and south of Laramie Way for chip seal restoration, lane closures with flaggers, 6/26/18, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

· Cottage Place, Bungalow Drive, Constellation Drive, Panorama Drive, and Balitch Court for chip seal restoration, lane closures with flaggers, 6/27/18, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

· Remarkable Drive, Oneil Place, Windwood Way, Rademacher Place, and Metke Place for chip seal restoration, lane closures with flaggers, 6/28/18, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Other Ongoing Closures:

· Rumgay Lane between Butler Market Road and Quiet Canyon Drive for utilities installation, curbs, and paving, road and lane closures, local access only, 6/11/18 – 7/13/18.

· Egypt Drive between 18 th Street and Ranch Village Drive for City of Bend Egypt Water Line Project, road and lane closures, 6/15/18 – 8/26/18.

o Access to Rockridge Park will be maintained on the east side of Egypt Drive

Upcoming Closures:

· Horizon Drive, Welcome Court, and Starview Drive for chip seal restoration, lane closures with flaggers, 7/2/18, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
