Sunday AM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Happy Sunday Central Oregon!

Today we are going to see warm temperatures across the high desert with highs in the upper 80s to 90s across the region.

There is an area of high pressure that is in place and it is keeping us warm and dry for us today.

We will see that high pressure system begin to break down just a little bit as we make our way into the overnight hours.

Clouds will push in off the coast into the valley and we will see a chance for some showers in the cascades.

This will make for a breezy Monday and cooler temperatures as well. Winds will be out of the Northwest at 7-10 MPH and we could see gusts up to 25 MPH at some points. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Lots of sunshine in store though for the week ahead as we stay in the 80s for much of the week!
