Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM

KTVZ

Happy Monday evening, everyone!

Tonight winds will be gusting around 30 miles per hour out of the northwest. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s and lower 70s around sunset. Mostly clear skies are ahead for the overnight. Lows will bottom out in the upper 40s and lower 50s early tomorrow morning and overnight tonight.

Tomorrow looks to be our coolest day of the week with highs in the low to mid 80s, which is average. A dry cold front will leave Central Oregon with breezy conditions at times tomorrow and a slight cool down. Mostly sunny skies are still expected.

Wednesday begins the next heat wave. Highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Sunshine will stick around through the end of the week. Through Friday our temperatures keep climbing into the upper 90s to lower triple digits bringing us our warmest temperatures of the year so far.

Prepare now for the heat with extra water. We have a very dry, warm to hot, and sunny extended forecast on the way to the High Desert.
