Bend man stabbed in domestic dispute near La Pine

Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies say a 53-year-old Bend man was stabbed and seriously injured Monday night in an apparent domestic dispute north of La Pine.

Deputies responded around 9 p.m. to the reported stabbing in the area of Paulina Lake Road, Sgt. William Bailey said.

The Bend man was taken to St. Charles Bend with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, he added.

No arrests have been made, the sergeant said, adding, “This incident is currently being investigated as a domestic dispute between a male and female and both parties involved have been contacted.”

Bailey said the investigation is continuing, and more details will be released when available.
