Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM

KTVZ

Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!

Winds will be breezy at times out of the north tonight gusting 20 miles per hour. We’re still going to see clear skies tonight. Lows will be rather chilly, but around average tomorrow morning, in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Some haze is likely closer to the Cascades and areas up towards the north.

Tomorrow will start with sunny skies and chilly temperatures, so grab your jacket as you’re headed out to the bus stop! A southwesterly flow tomorrow will pull wildfire smoke into Central Oregon by the end of the day. We’ll notice the smoke through Sunriver and La Pine first.

Daytime highs will peak in the mid to upper 80s under sunny skies. Temperatures will be above average and in the direct sunlight it will feel pretty warm. We’ll be in the mid to upper 80s through Friday with mostly sunny skies expected.

Smoke will linger through Friday before a cooler system pushes the air to the southeast. Daytime highs will be cooler by Saturday. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s this weekend. Mostly sunny skies are ahead and we’ll be left with a little haze.
