Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM
Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!
Breezy conditions at times with winds gusting 20 miles per hour. Overnight we’ll see mostly clear skies with some haze. Air quality levels have been at “moderate” today and that should continue tonight. Lows will fall into the low to mid 40s, which is a few degrees above average.
Tomorrow sees more smoke as the flow brings the haze up from the southwest. Skies will stay smoky and mostly sunny for tomorrow. Highs will be on the warm side in the mid to upper 80s, which is above average by a few degrees.
Friday will see the last of the “warm” temperatures before the next system pushes inland. Skies will stay smoky through the end of the week. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s for Friday.
By Saturday the next system moves in from the northwest. Cooler air rolls in for the weekend and daytime highs will be in the low to mid 70s. Smoke will push out of Central Oregon towards the southeast overnight into Saturday, so we should wake up to clearer skies on Saturday.
Daytime highs for the weekend and week to follow will be a few degrees below average. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s. We’ll see clouds increase by Monday and a slight chance for a few sprinkles into the middle of the week.
